Janice,

Once upon a time, I wore contact lenses (the hard, not the soft variety). To go to sleep wearing hard contact lenses is not a good thing to do. In fact, it's a very bad thing to do. I think I'll stick with eyeglasses, but often make the mistake of going to sleep while wearing them. For a number of reasons, this is not an advisable practice. Aside from that, I too would rather not get up close and personal with mornings. What a dreadful time of the day! I don't much like Mondays or Fridays either.
