Thanks for the kind compliment. I was brainstorming what stocks to buy with a young (well very young) gal I was dating and we were talking about the crazy valuations the dot coms were getting. We discussed picks and shovels they would all need... PCs of course but delivery services so I bought FDX for my newsletter then took profits and added a smaller company with some of the profits. I was in house money from AMAT much sooner since I bought AMAT with my personal account at $3.06 per share back in 1996 when EVERYONE hated it since the sector was in a downturn. I also bought LRCX in 1998 at $3.42 per share just weeks before starting the newsletter at ($3.33 for LRCX) with those 3 stocks for 60% of the portfolio.
