Nah, stick around. Reminiscing's fun! My copy also is monaural. The price sticker is still on the album jacket, and it looks like I bought mine for $2.79 plus tax, which was probably 3% then.
S&H Green Stamps or Blue Chip Stamps, steak knives, drinking glasses but, best of all, 25 cents a gallon for ethyl (that's premium for you whippersnappers)! And they washed you windshield, really looked under the hood, and checked your tires. And they even put the gas in the tank for you. Imagine that! Those were the days.
And while we're on the subject, does anybody remember the very excellent, satirical "That Was The Week That Was?" Those funny folk really knew how to roast and flambe politicians.
