Hi Christine! The Clinton conspiracy against the truth had a really bad morning today on the Sunday talk shows. In a lighter vein, Cokie Roberts displayed her own wit when recounting some recent verbal faux pas by the dynamic duo when welcoming the new Surgeon General. AlGore referred to the new SG are "Hatcher"., whereupon Clinton corrected Al and introduced him as "Thatcher". Laughing, Cokie explained that the man Clinton and Gore fought so hard for during the past year was actually named Satcher! Ms. Roberts then cracked that for Clinton, "at least it was an honest mistake! Sam Donaldson was then heard thinking .... .... well Cokie, what you're actually saying is that if it's Clinton and it's honest then it has gotta be a mistake!
