I dunno... I don't want to argue religion or favorite super heros here... but it is my forum so I get the LAST word.

If I recall the God of the Bible killed just about everyone he didn't approve of more than once.

I'm in California.... some say the God of the Bible doesn't approve of most here and he tried several times to take out my house with storms this winter but the falling trees missed my house doing significant damage but didn't hurt anyone or make it unlivable (mostly outdoor structures and minor roof damage.)

My friend's son leads (is the pastor of) an evangelical church and school in Paradise. While getting the kids and teachers out of the school to safety as the fire bore down on them, he was the last out and had to abandon his car to escape on foot... he lived but his church, school and car burned down. If these are acts of God targeting people for non belief, he sure hits far too many believers as "collateral damage" for my taste.

I heard a rumor someone died of COVID, went to Heaven and asked god "Why did you kill me, I believed in you?" And his answer was "I sent down three vaccinations AND Paxlovid which you refused to take. Three strikes and you are out even though I gave you a fourth pitch on the replay with Paxlovid."

So... who to believe is similar to picking which is your favorite super hero.
