You are probably correct.
I'd want a 2 or 3% premium to inflation MINIMUM to risk lending my money to the asshats who cause massive inflation with excessive spending and corrupt programs
I think you need to add a zero to those numbers.
I sure don't own any other than what is in my BND - Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (kirklindstrom.com) index holdings. I've been trickling into that as rates rise but holding cash to 6-month USTs have been far better.
