Buy on strength at the green line and sell on weakness near the red line is not perfect, but it is right far more often than it is wrong. It's not as if one cannot reopen the position if things change or one is mistaken.

Today was a brutal day and I took a hit. Worse, all the shorts that I closed went down big and the only thing that went up was the short position I opened :(

Still, it would have been a lot worse if I had not cleaned house last week and had kept my weak stocks.

Taking a loss is never easy, but one must stick to the plan.
I sold all but a few of my QRTEP today. The token position is there so I keep an eye on it for a while. The loss would have been a profit if I had kept eye on QRTEA as I had planned to do...live and learn, I guess.
