I disagree.
No such two party system. A facade. It's the Uniparty.

I agree that BOTH want to suck money from taxpayers and give it to their supporters.

But what "causes" they choose to fund are divided along political lines.

For the most part, the GOP wants to let US decide where the money WE EARN is spent while the Democrats want to take as much money WE EARN as possible away via taxes and fees to support causes they think is more worthy than our choices. Both parties seem to get wealthy pushing their agendas.

One party would give out pills that terminate human life before birth FOR FREE while they would put you in jail if you had a fried egg sandwich using eagle or turtle eggs. The other party does all it can to protect human life before birth but wants the parents rather than the government to support that life when it comes to term.

Tons of massive differences.

And even odder, some of the causes seem to have jumped sides such as secure borders to keep low-cost labor out used to be a Democratic talking point where they blamed and even got some Republicans to lose elections for having illegal alien housekeepers... Meg Whitman for example, where today Meg could have claimed she was "giving sanctuary" to the illegal alien.
