Actually stating, and I quote, "we are not a Democracy". We are just a Republic.
This argument has been circulating for many years now. I argued against it four years ago:

Now it's one thing to argue against direct democracy. That's a position I can agree with.

But it's yet another thing to argue against democracy in general. That's what the Q Continuum is arguing for, and quite frankly, it should alarm anyone who still believes in our democratic republic.
