But logic aside, I think it's mostly because he's a Democrat, and the greater number of posters here are not. Still, I've rarely really LOATHED politicians, and I find this sort of Great Satan fearmongering (hear me, Khomeini?) distasteful. Sure, I really, really didn't like Nixon, but that's about it, if we leave aside even worse nasties like David Duke from Lousiana (rumored to be considering a run for the Senate), Pat Robertson, and Jerry Falwell. These are people who hate people, and they are not very nice.
But hey, I guess I'm just not keeping up with the times... |
