Many thanks for your algo comments / explanations. I probably mistakenly never considered such “basic” functions as trailing stops, on stop buys, profit target sell orders etc algos. When I think of algos, I think of much more complex trading systems along the lines of what you are working on. I also (subconsciously) equate algos or trading bots to “manipulation” primarily in the micro and small cap markets which I still play in a small way. A decades old hobby of mine in spite of the segment’s pitfalls as in spooifing, naked shorting etc. Once again, thanks for your replies.
