Well Hon, I live in the middle of Illinois, we grow a little corn around here and feed some to cattle. Most of the corn is shipped West to feedlots for store beef that are slaughtered at 800 pounds. We do have some specialty growers around here that corn feed their beeves to 1200 pounds. I live 1/2 mile from a locker plant that handles the best of the best. The meat was mind blowing. Some boffos cook the same stuff well done and should,well they have suffered from having to eat overdone meat.
