By far the most money I've made has been with buy and hold. I bought Nvidia years ago and held on through many an ugly drawdown. It sounds nuts, but it's up nearly 100x. Same with Apple.

I think with the obsession over trading (which I share) the tried/true buy/hold approach doesn't get enough attention. For most people it's probably the best way to participate in the market.

I've lost so much potential profit on other stocks trying to ride through drawdowns and failing, getting shaken out and never coming back. But I'm trying to follow the roadmap and simply hold on to the good ones when I can identify them. Hence my recent obsession over SMCI. Hoping that doesn't make me a pig, but if so, sticks and stones....(-:
