Good Morning Kirk,
Your contractor is not alone.
This election better not be run by crooks like the last one was.
Biden is just a crook and most people can at least know he doesn't pass the smell test.
I suspect a fresh new 22 shell companies and ALOT of money going to him through the Cartels.
Enough on that or I'll write another rant. <smile>
We have two cauldrons with nice dirt on the top 12 inches.
We'll plant:rosemary, chives, thyme, dill, and several types of Basil.
We eat Basil a lot with mozzarella on tomato with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We also use a lot when canning.
I've built seven large raised garden beds over the years. Each one I learned how to build them a little better. From looking at the pictures you have sent, I can tell you that your contractor has done a wonderful job in constructing them. Those middle 4x4 posts buried and cemented in the ground are what I did not do on my first attempts. They keep the box from bowing once the weight of the dirt gets in them.
Not sure what your planting intentions are, but if you plant any tomatoes, I'll share my best secret: Use Tomato Maker fertilizer when you first transplant them from starter pots.Just follow their instructions and you'll need very strong tomato cages because they'll grow to be 6 feet tall. If you hook up your drip irrigation to them, they'll get so heavy with tomatoes, you'll need to anchor the cage with a T post.

I add sphagnum peat moss and compost every year. I finally found a local person who makes and sells compost, which is a bit more powerful than the "Black Cow" compost that Home Depot sells.
I've done that for years and my harvest just seems to get better and better.
I'm here in Houston house sitting through this cold front. Preventing frozen pipes and keeping my 7 citrus trees warm with some heat chambers I've constructed with 2x4 wire mesh and double layered bubble wrap used for underlayment with roofing shingles . I wired uo some 12 gauge wire and put elevtric plug in on one end and a waterproof outlet box on the other end. The box goes in the cage with an incandescent bulb and socket plugged into the box. I then have tied a product called "planket" over the top, and my trees are toasty warm. three winters ago we had a freeze that lasted for 3 days and every one of my citrus trees were killed. We hoped for a survivalor two but all we gat after two years were the root stock.
Last spring we sprung for $4,000 and bought older and bigger trees, and had them plant them. Two Grapefruit, two Satsuma oranges, two Meyer Improved lemons and one Nectarine/plum tree. So to prevent a repeat of freezing then to death I hit the road before the front cam in. It looks like Thursday will warm up and I'll leave them in Cages till we come back to Houston in February for a partnership meeting regarding our Chrysler dealership.
I guess retiring has turned me into a farmer. LOL
