Well, if you lived here and seen how all the prisoners let out of jail are causing so much crime... small businesses are shuttering left and right in SF and especially Oakland. We're seeing reports with video of armed robberies of people filling up gas before returning rental cars to Oakland Airport... I'd MUCH rather see the minimum wage raised and the tax rate very low for working up to $100 or $200K a year so there is INCENTIVE to work. I heard Jamie Diamon, CEO, say his bank employees don't want a higher wage as it kicks them into a much higher health insurance bracket... I know it kept me from kicking ass to try and make double my income when well over half would go to the government, especially if you look at the loss of subsidies on ACA health insurance. Why bust my butt for freeloaders when I can chat with you online and windsurf instead?
