The U.S. tax system is totally messed up!
It has basically become a welfare distribution system. Rob the rich & give to the poor.
Taxes should only be collected to pay for and maintain roads, airports, railways, government facilities, secure borders, defense of our nation, and for those with valid disabilities (must be a stringent validation process).
There should not be any corporate tax, it's just past on to the consumer.
There should only be 3 types of taxes, citizen tax (age 0 to 17), citizen tax (age 18 & older) & noncitizen tax. Everybody should pay. Every year by October 1st the government should pass a budget for what is needed to run the government for another year. On November 1st the tax rates for citizens & non citizens should be published. On December 1st a bill should be sent to every citizen for the tax they owe, to be paid by December 31st. Noncitizens must pay when they exit the U.S. for the total time of their stay. The citizen tax (age 0 to 17) would be paid by the parent or legal guardian.
Welfare should be handled through churches, & other not for profit organizations.
We should have government shelters (minimum amenities) to handle homeless people. They will work to earn their citizen tax.
It's a very straight forward simple process.
The IRS would be sending out the bills, collecting the taxes, and garnishing wages for those failing to pay.
You would not be allowed to vote if your citizen taxes were not paid.
Everybody needs to pay for the right to be in our country, even free loaders! You have the right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.
