Success relies on being the right kind of paranoid schizophrenic ;) I agree and sometimes even being paranoid goes against you lol! I had a concentrated position in DDOG thanks to earnings gap up on volume. Avg cost was 101, kept it all the way until early March, avg sell price 126. Well, I had a few gtc buy orders kick in avg 121.4ish yesterday, so I'm back on again. If I'd just sat there and held, it would've been a lot less stress and work lol!
