I still think we are better off today than at any other time. Leaders be damned! Edit: the idea that a president shouldn’t be bought is wrong. Why shouldn’t people be able to influence leaders? Just make it transparent - that’s it. Even though I found a fault with every president bar a very few, I think they were the best we had. We are not about our leaders. We are about ourselves!
