If your in hospital (and I was) the plan is you get out of hospital alive and in good condition if possible. Therefore I might question a doctors view, but I definitely would NOT start an argument with him/her, unless a plan B, not involving said doctor, was readily available. No matter who was right or wrong. Even recommending the vax might go unchallenged, as the response would be dependent on a personal risk analysis as best that could be done on the spot. . In the case of imminent open heart surgery, or post operation, I would almost certainly go with what the doctor recommended.

Luckily no "vaxxine" was available when I was in hospital, but it was during the Covid Lockdown.
