Tenchu's Thoughts: TUCK FRUMP ... AGAIN
Last time I told Frump to tuck himself was when he accused Nikki Haley of not being eligible for the presidency. He cowardly shared the suggestion that children of immigrants are not "natural born citizens" as required by Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution:
Tenchu's Thoughts: TUCK FRUMP
Now he's going further.
Much further.
He's accusing Kamala Harris of not being a black woman. That interview at the National Association of Black Journalists is already well-known.
What isn't as well-known, but equally as despicable, is this asshole accusing her of being a "phony Indian."
Here's a Tr00th Social post of his where he's sharing a video of Kamala cooking Indian food w/ Mindy Kaling:

Crazy Kamala saying she's Indian, not Black. This is a big deal. Stone cold phony. This is a big deal. She uses everybody, including her racial identity! Where in that video clip did Kamala say that she wasn't Black?
How is it impossible for Kamala to be BOTH Black and Indian?
I can maaaaaybe understand if the ignorance is coming from some hick who never travels much outside of his own rural enclave.
But this is Frump who spent most of his working life in metropolitan New York City. There are LOTS of multi-racial and multi-ethnic people in NYC. He should know better.
Chameleon
Already the spin from the Republicans is taking shape.
"But but Trump is only calling out Kamala's tendency to change her colors at will! She's a chameleon!"
That is an utter oversimplification of what racial minorities here in America have to go through.
I know. Here in Silicon Valley, where many different cultures come together and sometimes clash (but hardly ever violently), I see how people act one way toward one racial group, then another way toward another racial group, then yet another way toward a mixed racial group.
My wife is the same way. Around other Koreans, she acts in certain ways (depending on which Koreans she's interacting with). Around Chinese and Indians (the two dominant Asian subcultures in this area), she acts a different way, and around white people and multi-racial groups, she acts in an even different way.
It just comes with the territory.
Identity Politics
Now I'll be the first one to call out Kamala Harris anytime she uses her race and ethnicity to hide from criticism. This has happened before, mostly by her defenders.
But for Frump to come out and try to turn her multi-racial identity into a millstone around her neck was by far one of the dumbest political moves he has ever made. And given how many he has made in the past, that's saying something.
In short, by trying to come out one step ahead of the game of identity politics, Frump ended up tilting that game HEAVILY in her favor.
Because now many more voters, especially independents who are either racial minorities or are good friends with members of minority races, are inclined to vote against this white supremacist.
They now know that Kamala's multi-racial identity is real and genuine. They can see it for themselves, no matter what Frump says.
One more thing to get off my chest
Finally, I want to answer the questions that are probably on the minds of those who still think Frump had a point.
Does Kamala "act Black"? Does Kamala "act Indian"?
To which I say, "What the Brandon does that mean, anyway?"
How are you SUPPOSED to "act Black"? Are you not "Black" until you fulfill every "Black" stereotype out there? Maybe live the "gangsta" lifestyle, as The Babylon Bee satirized (see Bill's post)? Talk "Ebonics"?
And how are you SUPPOSED to "act Indian"? Own a convenience store and say "Come again" every time a customer leaves? Ask people to "do the needful"? Dress up in very traditional Indian clothes, like Beta Boy Trudeau once did? Should Kamala show up to their first debate wearing a sari?
This is so damned stupid. I've seen Black people act all different ways, from Barack Obama to Snoop Dogg.
And I've seen Indian people act all different ways.
Not only that, but I've seen Indian politicians span the entire spectrum of left and right. From the ultra-woke Kshama Sawant in Seattle to the newest member of the Q Continuum, Vivek Ramaswamy. From moderates like Nikki Haley to extremists like Dinesh D'Souza.
Do any of them "act Indian"? Of course not. They act the way they act. They're individuals.
And guess what? So is Kamala Harris. She's unique. She's an individual.
She may check off all the "boxes" of woke identity politics, but there is still plenty in her resume to establish her as a well-qualified candidate.
And although her track record as VP may be atrocious, again her record should stand on its own merits (or lack thereof), and not depend on whether she is some "DEI hire."
Here We Go Again
So again, I feel like saying it.
TUCK FRUMP. AGAIN AND AGAIN.
May he suffer in the polls for his big FAT mouth.
May karma finally catch up to this guy.
