Yeah, they are good at that.

I remember a favorite Halloween costume for us kids was to be a "hobo" or "Bum" where we smeared black shoe polish on our cheeks and chin for "whiskers", wore baggy, dirty clothes then put our "belongings" in a sack tied to the end of a stick we'd carry over our shoulders. At least back then the language was honest... Illegal Aliens and Bums. Lower grade Halloween parades in our school featured many such costumes as they were "free" which was the perfect price for our neighborhood. My guess is kids would get "expelled" if they came to school in that sort of costume today.

Now they are called "migrants" and "people experiencing homelessness".

While driving, if you have a flat tire on the freeway and pull over, I believe they still refer to it as a "disabled vehicle" but if an athlete blows out a knee he/she now goes on the "injured list".

Orwell would be proud.
