Intel could take a page from the Finisar / Coherent playbook and sell future capacity for the capital to build the fab or fix their balance sheet. Cramer is better at making noise after a stock he liked at the top this year was crushed than he is at solving problems.

Finisar did it for Apple for the VCSELs that are in most high end phones now. Apple got first crack at capacity for paying in advance. Then as Coherent, they sold 25% of their SiC fab to two Japanese companies for several billion so they again kept control and will profit but solved their balance sheet problem.

Nvidia's CEO said the Intel test chips on the advanced process are good so they could "buy" capacity at much better terms than they get now with TSMC in exchange for capital... or they could buy 49% of it and then get tremendous margins compared to paying TSMC to build their chips.

My guess is we'll be as happy in a few years buying in 20s or lower as I am today for buying all that MSFT back when it was hated and only cost $22 and change per share at my lowest add in 2006. I took profits and sold half those later that year but then bought them back at $26.xx in 2013.
