Up here they are so desperate that they try and scare us with crossing guards that don't do their jobs! Actually that was Hard Copy I believe, not Northwest news, but it's the kind of nonsense that we get. They use it for filler between the two to three murders, fires and auto wrecks each day. Lately it seems we're treated to stories designed to make you fear for your life at every bend in the proverbial road. We are such defenseless wafes you know. jim
