What do you see in POET to take that much risk?

I see unique technology with key advantages in speed, energy usage, physical size, scalable in chips
protected by 30 patents (and more pending)
endorsed by market majors (Foxconn, Luxshare, Mitsubishi Electric (50% share of data centers), Celestial AI (photonic fabric startup with $275M VC) and others.

I'm not writing a longer reply but here's a decent video by a guy (MIT grad with experience in semis) who recognized NVDA years ago:

As far as stock ownership, do you know how many options they hold? I don't but think it's substantial at very low exercise prices.
