Btw, the Borax commercials came after RR parted with GE as a consequence of his political activity. He became host of Death Valley Days for a couple of years. RR then became the most successful politician in the history of California and among the most successful in U.S. history. Boy, too bad you don't get PBS. If you can, this Monday they will be broadcasting a new two part documentary on RR on The American Experience. From what I have heard, it would make you squeal.
