I am working on a dynamic stochastic indicator that automatically shrinks the duration near critical levels to give you a finer view of the market action and expands it when the stock is doing little and is in a stead trend or building a base.

Here's a preview using the charts of NVDA, BWXT, and CCJ.

My dynamic stochastic is the top indicators and I've put the standard stochastic at the bottom for reference.
That pink line in the bottom is the duration of my stochastic. You can see how it rises and falls in response to change in the stock.

As a result, it presents a different overall picture than the static stoch below.

I've placed vertical bars near the left side to mark a *region* where the contrast between the two indicators is pretty large.

The difference is specially glaring in the CCJ chart where it gave an earlier signal on both buy and sell sides without displaying the erratic behavior you see in fast stochastics.
