| | | Did Tucker show his demon scratches during that interview?
“I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder, and I was just in my boxer shorts so I went and flipped on the light in the bathroom, and I saw I had four claw marks on either side underneath my arms, and on my left shoulder. They were bleeding.”
Carlson says he did consider the possibility that he had scratched himself in his sleep, but quickly concluded that would not have been likely, explaining: “I sleep on my side so I wasn’t clawing myself. I don’t have long nails, and [the marks] didn’t fit my hands anyway.”
He goes on to state that he initially thought the experience had been “the weirdest dream he’d ever had,” before he looked down at his bed and saw blood on his sheets.
Bewildered by what he believes he experienced, Carlson said he turned to advice from his assistant, who is the “only evangelical Christian he knows,” and who promptly told him: “Oh yeah, that happens, people are attacked in their bed by demons.” |
