But is success invariably to be measured in financial terms? In Hollywood success has to be measured by things like, can you die of old age before you kill yourself off with drugs or suicide. How often you appear on film or TV, regardless of how talented you are, which contributes to the tendency to abuse drugs and then kill yourself. Or - Having the admiration of your peers even if they hate you behind your back and are two faced, which contributes to the tendency to abuse drugs and kill yourself, or getting an Oscar through a lottery process that has little to do with true talent, which only contributes to abusing drugs and killing yourself. Or getting married to the beautiful people - as many as you can before your face is tighter than a drum from all the lifts - and of course this contributes to ..well you know... Wow, success can be a real killer! Any one up for acting lessons!
