With reference to Miss Penni, DAR stands for Don't Ask Rambi. Miss Penni is the foundress of that wonderful whimsical thread. Miss Penni indeed turns 29 today. Could you look at her digital portrait here at SI and think otherwise? Her children, who are indeed about to begin college, obviously are child prodigies, probably ages 5 and 7. I'm surprised you weren't aware of that. Watch for them in the Guinness Book of Records.
The party was at San Gregorio Beach, not Half Moon Bay. A small point, perhaps, but we strive for accuracy in all matters of irrelevance here on this thread. Since you're only about a thousand miles away, why weren't you there? After all, Miss Penni came all the way from Texas. Janice almost came all the way from Italy, but her arms got tired on the way over, so she had to turn around and go back.
