All that's true, and Shestack doesn't attempt to conceal the fact that he's a Democrat. Nonetheless, he makes a very legitimate point. I'm not fond of the concept of sting operations to begin with: I tend to think of them as "entrapment".

What this still comes down to is: Clinton may have had an affair with Lewinsky. And he may have lied about it. Most people DO lie about extramarital adventures.

Whitewater may be worth investigating. Illegal campaign contributions are worth investigating. Bill's private life isn't.
