"From sea to shining sea" has meaning.
Your forefathers had vision.. Brits had already lost their way.. From the Louisiana (France) purchase on the nation building was nothing short of spectacular
What is more amazing is we've held on so long rewarding exceptionalism and hard work but about half the party still in White House changed that to reward one based on skin color and gender. We swung back hard in the other direction with the latest election, but I fear the party that lost power will start a new American Revolution to match the French and Russian revolutions targeting the wealthy.

Hopefully the party in power next year recognizes people who work hard deserve a safe retirement and health care as reward for 50 years of hard work (Social Security and Medicare). What is amazing to me is all the people here who work under the table, not contributing to taxes, Social Security and Medicare yet the idiots in SF give them the right to vote since they pay "sales taxes" on non food and rent items (while telling us they don't make enough to buy food and pay rent so 1 in 6 get food from the food banks I donate to.) Damn, there goes my BP!
