James Doohan lost a finger on his right hand due to a war injury and if you watch old Star Trek episodes, with a couple of exceptions, you'll never see him extend his right hand with his missing finger. Although he was right handed, he did his best to hide the injury. He was a true war hero during WWII.. allthatsinteresting.com
