I am burdened by memory.

Memore tenere. I remember back to about a decade and a half ago when David Begelman (Sp?) embezzled hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars from Columbia Studios.

Actor Cliff Robertson blew the whistle after Begelman apparently phonied the accounting to look as though the money went to Robertson.

Robertson, among others, was told that he better not speak out. Robertson's career suffered greatly because he alone had the integrity to say "Stop! This is wrong!" Babs was among the most vocal of those defenders of the indefensible.
