| | | | | Hi Everyone and Tom,
Thank you Tom for a great board!!

I'm new to the aim investing methodology. Just read the book maybe a month or so ago. I was doing some back testing and some leveraged ETFs because I think those would work wonderfully with the strategy. Still looking to do some testing on some of the sector funds as well.

I know that Tom and others around here are the experts. I've been doing some lurking ??

I was wondering if you could direct me to some post that could help me understand how to handle my cash a little bit better. I know there's a "Vealie", which I understand Tom is the author of. The reason I'm asking is because I did some back testing on those leveraged ETFs and it always seems like I end up with a ton of cash as time moves forward. Just wondered what I could do to back-test a couple of twists on the original method.

The one modification I did do was waiting for 10% of my stock value to initiate a trade both buying and selling. It helped overall, but I'm still missing a little something, especially as it relates to cash.

I understand cash is important, especially in a bear market. However, it just seemed excessive when I could have that cash, or at least a portion of that cash, still invested.

Anything you could do to help would be great. Maybe even highlighting a couple of posts that explain some of this. I'll be digging through some of this myself, but if you can expedite the process a little bit, that would be wonderful.

I hope to be able to contribute something here going forward :-)

 Regards,
 Dan
