I also hate anything that treats anyone differently than the general public.

The worst of this is that government workers get pensions and lifetime heatlhcare while regular workers get Social Security and Medicare. I would support the idea that government employees cannot receive benefits beyond what non-government employees receive. If that upsets government employees, just pay them higher salaries until the slots are filled.

Why do government workers get pensions while almost nobody else does these days? What's so special about them?
