EQX... IMO I like the Calibre merger. Greg Smith did a very nice job putting together the EQX portfolio. The new CEO Darren Hall ex Calibre CEO is an Operations guy. M and A and Operations are 2 distinct skill sets. It is uncommon to have the 2 in 1 person. Keep in mind... a strong accounting background, one of Greg's strengths, tends to clash with operations. Operations has been EQX's achilles heel. I removed the snorkel and broke over BE 2 weeks ago. We will see if the snorkel stays in the closet... EQX reports today ATB. CC tomorrow 9:30AM CST.
