Dwight,

I neglected to address the issue of seeming favoritism and the security clearance bestowed upon Monica. The favoritism is not so worrisome to me and is, in fact, quite understandable. The security clearance is an altogether different matter.

I understand that there are varying levels of security clearances. At what level was Monica's security clearance? To what would she or could she have access? To me, Monica's greatest fault seems to be overwhelmingly poor judgment. With her level of security clearance, how much damage could she do? What kind of supervision did she have?

I have probably fifty more questions along these lines, but I think I've made it clear that I don't care whether or not Slick boinked Monica or whether Monica was given preferential treatment or even whether she committed perjury about the alleged boinking.

What I do care about is how and by what means Monica wound up in the Pentagon and at what level of security clearance and what she did there. This is something the media should get their collective teeth into and not let go of until they shake out all the facts.
