I already own QQQI, SPYI, QYLD, PFFA, a basket of CEFs and a basket of BDCs, so I have that area covered I think and use that income as you suggest: "Someone could live on 5-8% and reinvest the remaining 4-7% to insure they are buying more income"
I mentioned that when I sold KMB I really did have a replacement yet. But the replacement will need to be a dividend growth company because at the core, that is what I am and will remain. Sure, I dabble on the fringes with income only HY stuff, and I am expanding that, but I am most comfortable with a single company with a rich history of shareholder friendliness by way of paying a reliable, increasing dividend.
My initial thoughts on the subject were as simple as "let's see if I can find better prospective company than KMB". I dont know why you would think your comment would piss anyone off? We are all here just seeking to bounce ideas off each other and/or share our moves and why we made those. |
