This is from Transparent California. The top income earners. The columns are: regular pay, overtime pay, other pay, total and then benefits and lastly grand total. Let me point out that if I want to pay myself benefits, of say $100K per year, I need to have $1M earning 5%. I had to pay tax on that $1M. Benefit and pension recipients don't have to have saved that after tax money. Also FWIW, the two top sheriff earners are at about $450K. Diego
