A major lesson learned on getting old

Do your children a favor and while you still can, get rid of as many of your personal memories, photo albums, clothes, etc., so you don’t leave the burden to them. I learned this from my father’s death. When you go through all the things they left behind, what they thought was important often mean little or almost nothing to you, but you feel guilty getting rid of them. Do it for them.
