Subu’s on the roll. Yes, it’s a limited study, very short term, few cases (many of the ones shown are overlaps). Nevertheless, the result makes real life sense. I wish, someone did a study since the inception of SPXU, using not the absolute number of shares, but, say, 3 standard deviation events. And 2 sd too, for comparison.

Massive outbursts of pessimism tend to happen near market lows.
