anice, if that's true, then that's huge news, and Starr may as well forget about Clinton and focus on Monica's alleged perjury, and the talking points. Could you please provide some source for your info on this bit of surprising news about Clinton's affidavit to the Jones' court now being ruled inadmissible in that court.

This is by now very old news. But I think if you go to the Washington Post "Special Report" page (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/clinton.htm) you can scroll down and do a search at "all stories".

Wright has prohibited all reference to Lewinsky in the Jones trial, on the not unreasonable grounds that it's irrelevant because Lewinsky has not alleged sexual harassment. Jones's lawyers have appealed on the to my mind entirely unreasonable grounds that they have the right to hound anyone and pry into his/her private life in order to prove a "pattern of behavior".

Wright has further said that she will not allow the trial to be a "parade of women", which at a minimum I find encouraging. As you know, my sympathy for Poor Little Paula is extremely limited.
