Whether he lied under oath to Paula Jones's lawyers is also unrelated to Whitewater. If it were to be investigated, or he to be prosecuted, it should be done by someone else.

Janice, didja ever wonder why Clinton didn't simply take the fifth amendment, when asked to file an affidavit? Surely his lawyers could have made an argument on the grounds that Clinton's sex life was NONE OF ANYONE'S BUSINESS!!!, as Surething so eloquently put it. And, it turns out from what you said, apparently the judge in that case now does indeed believe that the question Clinton was asked to answer may not be relevant.

But no, Clinton's first instinct was to lie, get others to lie, etc. That's his character. Evidently, it never ocurred to any of the brains on Clinton's legal team that Clinton's sex life may not be anyone else's business.

Wow. What a bunch of great intellects.
