Duncan, I am not sure the White House has much choice at this point about acknowledging SOME sort of relationship between Clinton and Lewinsky, particularly after Mike McCurry's remarks prepared us for some complicated emotional scenario. My guess is that with what is already known of the evidence, a kissing relationship is the minimum relationship they can get away with. Yes, if I were Chelsea or Hillary, I would be feeling pretty hurt. It is nice to see that in the trial balloon kissing story, there is an acknowledgement of the hurt he has caused his family. Since he is so Slick, however, it is difficult to know how he is really feeling. The White House may feel this just plays better to the public. Does anyone here believe the kissing story is plausible, incidentally?
