Duncan, I have actually heard of this story about the homeless mentally ill woman in New York, and I am fairly sure it is true. However, giving one anecdotal example of something absurd does not really get us anywhere with the plight of the homeless or the mentally ill. As an attorney, I am sure you know all of the clever reasoning methods which can be used to distract from the issue at hand, and are skilled at using them. Anyone can give one anecdotal example of anything, and it really isn't usually very constructive. As a libertarian (not an anarchist one, though, correct?), what is your opinion of how to solve this mess?
