Mr. C. has been accused of many things the investigation of which has been impeded because of his position, including the looting of a bank in Arkansas and the possibility of a payoff disguised as cattle futures trades. So despite Starr's occasional heavy handedness, some of us aren't so prompt to defend the Clintons' rights when they have thumbed their noses at all the bona fide efforts to investigate their acts in the past.
