In America, no man should be above the law. If Starr had violated the law, certainly Janet Reno would have fired him.

Reno's caught between a rock and a hard place on this one. If she'd fired him she'd have been accused of partisanship. That's probably why she acceded to his request to run the sting operation on Lewinsky. As she should not have done. Shoulda told him it was none of his damned business, and he should get back to Whitewater.
