Russell,
You write, "I really don't think I have that much to hide."
This is one of about seven statements someone can make that can really get me going. Think about what you have just said. Because you don't think you have anything to hide, would you welcome unlimited investigation of your school records, your medical records, your bank accounts, your investments, your family, friends, and neighbors, your hotel bills, your whatever, to the curious on a mission of questionable intent of outcome, with a bottomless expense account? I sure wouldn't. There exists the basic freedom and right to be left alone, the right to privacy, if you will, and that has nothing to do with having nothing or something to hide.
I see Janice has responded to your post and I concur completely with what she has posted in her response to your post. In fact, she has saved me the trouble of making a longer, more detailed post of my own. <vbg> Thank you, Janice.
