Thanks for posting that. I look forward to reading Morris' book.

The seriousness of the injuries Reagan sustained during that assassination attempt early on in his Presidency is something that I believe few people comprehend or were made aware of. The man nearly died. I have always chalked much of his seeming mental decline up to that terrible event in his life.

Some say Nancy and perhaps her astrologer were running the country. I hope Morris discusses that in his book and I would be interested in seeing his "fly-on-th-wall" take on whether or not this was true and/or how this might affect history's recording of Reagan's Administration.

Of course, through the years, there have been many rumors of various First Ladies being virtually in charge of he affairs of state.
