Mike,

Don't you find it a bit strange that we had better and more capable and perhaps more honorable people in public office before we sought to invade every corner of their privacy? I think it's time for me to once again haul out my old Watergate post on the Rambi thread of a few months back:

Surely you must agree that the media failed to "invade" Reagan's privacy with respect to his physical and mental fitness. To me, that is far more alarming than digging into who greased whose palm or who boinked whom.
